On September 13, 2022, Westinghouse Electric Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with 19 Czech firms. The MOUs signify cooperation on the potential construction of the AP1000® reactor for the Dukovany 5 project and other AP1000 projects in the Central and Eastern Europe.
The ceremony took place at the Residence of the U.S. Ambassador in Prague. Chargé d´affaires Christy Agor hosted the event. These strategic partnerships complement 16 other MOUs that Westinghouse completed in the past year. The U.S. Embassy supports Westinghouse as it pursues the Dukovany project.
