There is no central office for tourist information within the American Embassy in Prague. You may wish to contact the tourist offices of the states you plan to visit.

Daylight Saving Time
For most of the United States, Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. on the second Sunday in March, and ends at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in November. Daylight Saving Time is NOT observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and by most of Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona).
Three-band (900/1800/1900 MHz) cell phones will work in the United States. For roaming information, please contact your service provider.
The voltage is 110V/60Hz in the United States. Electrical equipment of 220V/50Hz with Hungarian/European two-prong plug requires the use of an adapter and/or voltage converter.
