Over 40 U.S. Fulbright grantees, who teach or conduct research at Czech and Slovak universities and high schools, attended an annual Fulbright conference in Trencianske Teplice in Slovakia on January 29-February 1. The conference was an opportunity for them to share their experiences on the Fulbright program and to discuss their future plans for the rest of the academic year.
U.S. Ambassador to Slovakia Adam Sterling and Acting Counselor for Public Affairs Erin Kotheimer gave remarks expressing great appreciation for all of their work, and the importance of the Fulbright program as a means to increase mutual understanding between the U.S. and the two host countries.
