The U.S. Embassy’s Commercial Service and Becton Dickinson joint forces on October 5 to present to local hospitals and hospital pharmacies professionals on digitalization trends in pharmacies and medication management pathways. Digitalization brings many advantages including significant implications for patient safety, reduced errors, and better services for patients.
“While healthcare leaders worldwide are aware of and embrace the value of digitalization, there are still many barriers to the sector’s complete digital transformation, including a lack of sufficient education and training,” said Ambassador Sabet, who hosted the two-hour seminar at his residence. “This is one of the reasons I believe seminars like this are so valuable, and we at the Embassy are happy to partner with world class American healthcare firms like Becton Dickinson on these opportunities.”
