The U.S. Embassy organized an afternoon program on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Education on April 6. It included two panel discussions – the first on how to attract more young women to STEM educational and career fields, and the second on the pathway from STEM research to a start-up business.

The day also included a presentation by IT expert Tamar Newberger. Highlights were a performance of Karel Capek’s R.U.R. entirely by robots, organized by a team of Jeseník high school students, as well as robot demonstrations by students from Czech Technical University.
