On September 14, U.S. Embassy Cultural Attaché Erin Kotheimer and Vice Rector of University of West Bohemia Ladislav Čepička renewed the Memorandum of Understanding to continue cooperation to maintain the U.S. Point at the University.

The U.S. Point opened in 2013 and offers printed and electronic resources, English language programs and educational advising to students, as well as to the general public.
