U.S. Embassy and Cisco Systems Team Up to Promote Cyber-Security for Czech Business Partners

Today’s cybercrime landscape has become extremely sophisticated. According to recent trends, malware is increasing as adversaries begin to weaponize cloud services and evade detection through encryption. On May 31, 2023, the U.S. Embassy, in cooperation with Cisco, hosted a seminar and discussion on how organizations can protect themselves against cyber-attacks.

“While we may not know when or in what form to expect a cyber-attack, we can mitigate risk. It will be important to enlist every tool in our toolbox, both public and private, to evaluate vulnerabilities, and prepare our best defense with eyes wide open” said Ambassador Sabet.

General Manager of Cisco Systems Czech Republic, Michal Stachnik, delivered a keynote presentation offering insights into cybersecurity trends and threats, drawing from Cisco Systems’ vast experience in the Czech Republic. Other experts from Cisco presented on a variety of topics, stressing that companies must be prepared to manage the ever-evolving nature of cyber threats.
