U.S. Beef Road Show, organized by the Foreign Agricultural Service in cooperation with U.S. Meat Export Federation and Bidfood Czech Republic, presented high quality USDA beef in six regions of the Czech Republic.
Gastro Team Bidfood supervised by the Executive Chef and U.S. Beef Ambassador in the Czech Republic Marek Svoboda, introduced both traditional and alternative U.S. beef cuts while focusing on their quality consistency, sustainable farming, endless cooking variations, and value for money perspective. 450 chefs from 250 top Czech restaurants and hotels participated in nine workshops across the country, from West Bohemia spas to the Ostrava region.
The two-day culinary masterclass held in Gastro Studio Bidfood, Kralupy nad Vltavou, was the capstone finale of a three-week FAS Prague project. Opened by the U.S. Ambassador Stephen King and Bidfood CEO Bohumil Volf, the masterclass was led by John Cadieux, Chef de Cuisine with broad international reputation.
