
For the next two weeks, diplomats from 195 countries are gathering for the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Lima, Peru, in order to draft a new agreement stop the global rise of planet-warming greenhouse gases.
U.S. State Department opened the U.S. Center in Lima, where outreach program by multiple U.S. government agencies, academic institutions, non-governmental organizations, private sector entities, and other stakeholders, will highlight their programs and scientific research underscoring the strong actions the U.S. is taking at home and the strategy the U.S. is pursuing abroad to combat this global challenge.
