Ambassador King presented a certificate to intern Izabela Chalupníková at the end of her time within our 9-month long Baruv Fellowship Program for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We deeply thank Izabela for her amazing work, cooperation and everything she brought to the table.
The U.S. Embassy Prague entered into Public-Private Partnerships with The International School of Prague, Hill+Knowlton Strategies Czech, Red Hat Czech, and Vodafone Czech Republic to collaborate on the Baruv Fellowship Program on January 24, 2018. The program provides placements in private companies, non-profit organizations and government for talented university students with ties to the Roma community, or other disadvantaged communities in the Czech Republic since 2015.
The goal of the Baruv Fellowship is to empower students from underprivileged communities by helping them gain professional skills to advance their future careers.
