The Embassy Organizes “Taste of America” Promotion of U.S. High Value Products

The Agricultural Office of the U.S. Embassy held along with Makro Cash and Carry the “Taste of America”, a promotion of U.S. high value products (beef, scallops, barbecue sauces, wine, bourbon, and dried fruit and nuts) “ at a newly opened MAKRO Academy in Prague 5 – Stodulky on September 21, 2015.

The U.S. Ambassador Andrew Schapiro opened the event and mingled with guests. Felipe Macias from the US Meat Export Federation gave a presentation on the differences and high quality of U.S. beef. After the formal presentation for all 70 guests from hotels and restaurants spread around the kitchen and a bar area to watch preparation of beef, listened to a special presentation on different meat cuts, could prepare their own hamburgers or choose from several different bourbon cocktails or taste California wine.
