The Foreign Agricultural Service at the U.S. Embassy in the Czech Republic, in cooperation with the Hop Growers of America, and Beer Academy Czech Republic, will contribute to centennial celebrations of U.S. – Czech diplomatic relations with an American hops and craft beer workshop, “Some Like it Hopped.”
The topic, equally popular with Americans and Czechs, will be presented by Matt Brynildson, the brew-master at Firestone Walker Brewing Company, in California. The workshop will take place at a popular Prague-area microbrewery/restaurant and will include simultaneous translation. The outreach event will welcome more than 70 brew-masters, home-brewers, hop traders, and press from throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
