On October 14, Chargé d´Affaires Jennifer Bachus along with Minister of Foreign Affaires Jakub Kulhanek welcomed Silicon Valley-based cyber security firm SentinelOne for a ceremony to celebrate the launch of their new research and innovation center in Prague. The site will ultimately employ 300 people and will house product development functions to augment existing teams in the Americas and Asia as well as elsewhere in Europe. SentinelOne’s total investment in the Czech Republic will exceed CZK 1 billion over the coming three years. Prague will also serve as SentinelOne’s Engineering HQ for Europe.
SentinelOne is a vibrant tech firm focusing on cyber security. SentinelOne’s solution encompasses AI-powered prevention, detection, response and hunting across endpoints, containers, cloud workloads, and IoT devices in a single autonomous platform.
Chargé d´Affaires Jennifer Bachus congratulated SentinelOne on their decision to set up in Prague saying “This is exactly the kind of high value investment that showcases the dynamic flow of goods and services between the United States and the Czech Republic.” She also noted, “October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month in the United States – so SentinelOne could not find better time to come to Prague to highlight a global effort to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity in all aspects of our lives, including how we can protect one another online in our increasingly interconnected world.”
