At the request of the Czech Prosecutor General, the U.S. Embassy Prague brought four U.S. experts to the Czech Republic to share U.S. experiences combating corruption and exchange information and views on our different legal systems. Over 120 Czech and Slovak prosecutors, police, and judges participated in the program at the Judicial Academy in Kromeriz on February 22. The experts worked on the Congressman Jefferson case, and discovered bundles of cash hidden in his freezer.
