International Day Against Homophobia Marked by Rainbow Flag Over the Embassy

The rainbow flag flying over the Embassy on May 16 to mark the IDAHO.

The U.S. Embassy is proud to fly the rainbow flag from our glorietta this weekend in honor of the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia! We stand with all of you against discrimination, and continue to work for equal treatment for all.

The International Day Against Homophobia, held on May 17 every year, was initiated in 2004 in order to visibilize the existence of homophobia as a social hate against homosexual people.
