Members of the International Visitor Alumni Club organized a panel discussion entitled Good Governance at the Municipal Level and Transparent and Accountable Institutions at the American Center on February 29. The speakers discussed methods employed by government to encourage transparency and ensure responsibility to the public, as well as the important the role played by NGOs and advocacy groups in promoting good governance. The panel included:
