U.S. Defense Attaché Attends Liberation Commemoration Events in Western Bohemia

Mark Wootan together with Mayor Vít Mojžíš participated in a ceremony of naming a new street after Lt. Clair W. Evans in Pilsen-Křimice on April 25, 2016.

On Saturday, April 23, Defense Attaché Mark A. Wootan visited liberation commemoration events in Cheb and in Pilsen-Křimice. In Cheb, he attended a ceremony dedicated to the memory of U.S. soldiers of the 97. Infantry Division of the U.S. Army who liberated the town.

In Křimice, Col. Mark Wootan together with Mayor Vít Mojžíš participated in a ceremony of naming a new street after Lt. Clair W. Evans, pilot of Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress that crashed near Křimice on April 25, 1945.
