Counselor for Public Affairs Travels to South Bohemia

Counselor for Public Affairs Ray Castillo traveled to South Bohemia to speak to about 150 high school students in Volyně and Tábor.

On April 6, Counselor for Public Affairs Ray Castillo traveled to South Bohemia to speak to about 150 high school students in Volyně and Tábor. Mr. Castillo toured the two schools and listened to students’ presentations. In Volyně, he also met with the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Ms. Maureen Heydt.

Mr. Castillo’s presentations focused on Czech-U.S. relations, U.S. foreign policy, the life of a diplomat, and other topics. He also played a few Czech songs on his guitar during his presentations. His visit concluded with a student guided tour of the historical center of Tábor.
