Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland visited the Czech Republic to meet with government officials and members of civil society.
During her visit, Assistant Secretary Nuland reaffirmed the United States’ deep, vital, important alliance with the Czech Republic and held productive discussions with anti-corruption activists and NGO leaders about Czech support for democracy locally and abroad, adding that “we are not only an alliance for security, an alliance for economic prosperity, but we are also an alliance for values.”
