Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy Prague hosted a seminar organized by the Institute for Public Discussion on “Transparent and Sustainable Healthcare”. Ambassador Stephen King and Commercial Counselor Christina Sharkey gave remarks at the event where participants had an opportunity to hear presentations from top Czech medical specialists, including Josef Kautzner of IKEM, Ales Tomek of FN Motol, and Tomas Kovarnik of VFN.
Presentations were followed by a panel discussion featuring Health Director of Oborova zdravotni pojistovna Jitka Vojtova, Executive Director of American Chamber of Commerce Weston Stacey, Country Director of Medtronic Michal Vondras, and Managing Partner of Advance Healthcare Management Institute Pavel Hrobon. The discussion was moderated by Miroslav Palát of CzechMed.
