Ambassador King and MFA Petricek make a “virtual visit” to the Dukane Company

U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic Stephen King and Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Tomáš Petříček participated in a virtual visit to the Prague plant of the U.S. company Dukane IAS.

The firm has voluntarily converted part of its ultrasonic welding and cutting plant into a production line for face masks.  As the company’s European Regional Manager, Brian Yamato, said during the online presentation, the company is producing and distributing the masks  to local hospitals, senior centers, first responders and other critical personnel in the fight against the spread of coronavirus, or COVID-19.

Foreign Minister Petricek expressed his gratitude to the Dukane company for their social responsibility, and to Ambassador King for his invitation to this virtual event, which used technology to lessen the risk of the spread of disease.
