Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary David de Falco Visits Prague

On May 10–11, U.S. Department of Commerce Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary David de Falco visited Prague to take part in the 4th round of the U.S.-Czech Economic and Commercial Dialogue that was originally launched in 2010. The topics focused on business development and trade promotion – mainly in the areas of energy, aerospace, digital economy and nanotechnology; investment; market access issues and policy initiatives.

The Czech-U.S. Economic and Commercial Dialogue has become an important part of the two countries’ trade relationship. Through high-level visits and ongoing communication, the Dialogue advances the joint efforts to support trade and investment promotion, work through obstacles to increase market access, and seek out cooperative areas in innovation as a tool to promote commercial cooperation and encourage scientific and research collaboration.
